Why Am I Running for Councilman?
My family has lived, worked, been schooled and paid taxes in Cape Coral since the late 1980’s. I have seen Mayors and City Councilmen come and go. Controversy has NOT been a stranger to Council Chambers. The City Council tends to make decisions that come “AT” the people of Cape Coral rather than “Serving” the electorate. Citizens need to take back their voice in government. I want to be that representative voice. With great purpose comes great responsibility. I want all registered voters in Cape Coral to take responsibility and turn out and actively vote “FOR” a candidate rather than the lesser of two evils. To vote for a person who has no special interest or self-serving agenda. To vote for a person who will consider the taxpayer first and responsibly manage revenues instead of having taxpayers burdened with Council’s errors in judgment. To get what you vote for or you’ll put up with what you don’t.
